Topped out at 1.1” in Clarksburg for the storm.

If my memory is correct (and it may not be), BDCF placement is one thing that the NAM does well. It’s at end of range now but seems to suggest that the front makes it through our area on Friday night. Something to watch over the next few days.

Just absolute dank deep gray fog in downtown baltimore at 3:30 pm in the afternoon. Like, something out of the movie set conception of fog. Gross. At 36 degrees. Just...blah.

Am taking care of my friend’s horses again this week. The mud is real. She lives up on Furnace Mountain and her main paddock is on a hill. Had to dig in all of my balance to not wipeout. Heading back soon for the night feed.  Damp cold gray can go away.

With the exception of some imaginary snow that never came to be, this whole stretch starting last August has been glorious. Feels like it hasn't been hot in years and years now. Hope we can keep it up till May, do three months in the pen, then do it all again

This weather blows.  Nothing more depressing and a foggy, gray, wet 40 degree day.  I fear this boundary is just gonna set up shop over us for the next week.  Maybe I should plant some grass seed.

Soil temps are below 45 degrees. You'd be wasting money.

Not sure it would be wasting money. It wont germinate until the soil warms up some- it will just be dormant for awhile.

As long as you can keep it from washing away, or being eaten, it'll be fine.

Down in Aldie helping the farrier. 50 out does not feel like it. Getting the horses out of the fields is quite an adventure. Put my tall muck boots on and glad I did. Sinking about a good 3-4” into the mud at the gates.

We’re too far north for sun, too far south for clippers, too far east for upslope, and too far west for Miller Bs lol.
