Truly, and amazing it happened 46 years after the miracle on ice to the day. Just a gutsy effort though and through by our boys.  That Canadian team was maybe one of the best national teams ever assembled.  Got the gold in women’s too! Great moment for USA hockey.

Still steady to moderate snow out here interestingly my rain gage has .24 registered already i think that is wetter than most models had by noon for me. 34 degrees and still about 1/2" on the grass

So looking at the HRRRs...here in Baltimore it doesn't look like we see more than 5" or so? I guess that's better than nothing, lol

Some of these flakes are legit parachutes. So big they are already sticking on wet ground.

Only down to 36.0 at this point. 

Wow down to 34.7 already. Greater than 60% snow now. Will keep that way as long as these darker bands stay. Its doing wonders cooling down the lowest layer here.

I'm curious why NWS put 5-10" in their warning for this area. Looks like we'll struggle for the low end!

Unfortunately I think there's going to be alot of disappointment in the area between the actually coastal and where the IVT sets up.

With these marginal temps its going to be hard to accumulate without rates.

I told my wife this morning don't be surprised to wake up to bare grass tomorrow morning lol.
