Whether we get some messy events like Euro AI shows or are these just nasty rain events remains to be seen. Even srn Canada is void of any cold. But with no SE ridge, a torch doesn't seem likely...this is just Pacific puke air. Model's trying to end that way though
ORH_wxman
The mid month SSW could def make March interesting. But there’s never any guarantee that happens. It does look like the WPO tries to reload after mid month. The Bering/AK vortex though will be stuck with us at least for a week, and perhaps a bit longer. The NAO will try to offset that some but it is still going to be a much milder pattern than we’ve seen.

TBH I've been trying to avoid looking at the temp/dewpoint because it just makes it worse. Not looking forward to this upcoming weekend. That road doesn't usually see any sun until like later March or April lol. Went out yesterday and was glad the roads that do get sun were in pretty great shape. NW_of_GYX
Count me in for the euro op look. This stretch has been great for lake ice but not snow. The big bay on Sebago is making legit ice for the first time in over a decade. Now lets relax the temps and get some snow where it wants to snow in peak climo, NNE

Fakersville This was the post that did it for me. He has an unshielded max/min thermometer just sitting out in the middle of the tree farm. I mean of course it’s going to lose more heat at night.
