Sure…but this run takes it from the Bahamas to Bermuda and then to the Cape. Maybe it’s right, but I’d like to see it repeat something similar come 00z.

Given the bullishness of the ensembles, it seems plenty of members are slingshotting it in some fashion…even if not the exact same track.

Im still somewhat of a skeptic on this being big, but I think the path to a big event is ripping that dumbbell low NNW around the H5 low….Is feel better to start things a little further west.

As a red line commuter, it’s pretty stunning how badly the storm recovery has been. 25+ minute waits for most trains, constant delays, a total of two disabled trains just today. Ubers easily 2x the cost they would usually be. Another big storm would cause serious problems.

Bring it on anyway :snowing:

I’m actually somewhat shocked at how bad the response to this storm has been. None of the storms like Feb 2021 or Jan 2022 or the 2018 storms caused this type of disruption. This area got really soft the last 2-3 years.

Yeah hopefully it’s on the right path. I’ve felt like this comes west to some extent although I thought we’d be able to curl the vort more north with time and pull it off that way. But I’ve seen the eps mean flip flop with the op on runs many times before too. Hopefully we get more globals on board at 00z and the euro somewhat holds.

You're telling me, my son has had 3 snow days this week. Only time I can remember getting that many days off in a row was the 2005 storm.

This had a hook and latter vibe to it early on too… Sort of got lost, but we may have to go back through that phase of stuff before this ultimately becomes a real deal. Looking ladder storms do happen though.

I like the 70kts at 925 pinwheeling through.

lmao or 4 year ago...

as long as i know its coming and im not expecting 20-30 like 2015 or 12-20 like 2022 then id be totally fine with it...better than a whiff. you gotta be a real nut job to rather have cirrus than 8" just bc SE MA gets 18-24.
