Yeah it's crazy how fast this model took over.  Everything just trends towards it.  It really does seem to pointless to use anything else in the medium range when this thing locks onto an idea.

Yep, was just there last week. I go about once a month for work to Denver/that area. The burbs aren't cheap these days.

Kinda silly in hindsight, though a lot of times I would just stay there through the weekend or travel somewhere else. Summertime is pretty cool there…the mountains become bike parks. Wish I was into mountain biking at the time.

It has been warm 2 of the last 3 trips out there. Was enjoying 60 degree afternoons last week, sure I love snow, but that was a weird place to get relief from our subzero wind chill days.

Icon would have been further north this run if it extended beyond 120hrs. That Lakes vort showed up unlike 12z and 700mb RH was noticeably further north. Heights along the coast were higher too.
