Just hit 9” Almost couldn’t open my screen door to go outside.

When the best dynamics pass ne of you the snow should pretty much end and you'll have sleet.

What's falling is still heavy and not pure sleet so will still add accumulation

And when it does change to 100% sleet it will go on for awhile, so we'll add a decent amount of accumulation. Of course I don't like sleet as much as I like snow, but I still like it. Freezing rain is what I don't like.

Probably a good idea to shovel right as it goes to sleet. In the dryslot models are showing some areas of freezing drizzle. That will make it all congeal into concrete.

I'd think you'd want it on a thick layer of fluffy stuff. Then you can just smash through the top layer instead of it being glued to the pavement. Same for cars, you want a buffer between your car and the sleet/rain mix

Measured 9” in the front 8.5” in the back at 12:45; still excellent rates.

Anyone have a link to the coefficient radar? Pittstown is 20 miles southwest of me.

Just starting to hear some pingers on the window out here in Central Warren County.

Exactly. What I don't like is when the ice is underneath the snow and you have to scrape hard to get it off the pavement. Much better if it's on top of the snow. This will be fine.
