I don’t think that’s what he meant. Everyone should want this a little flatter because there’s a direct correlation between that and how good Mondays potential extra snow is

It was a tad weaker with mslp but more QPF. Pretty darn close to 18z except better Monday. Better thump too.

ICON was a bit colder aloft than at 18z, so that helped the ratios. And that was a good trend to stop the progression of the taint.

 

And verbatim after 12z, that added another 4 inches thanks to the ratios.

Even with respect to Monday....the stakes are low...we aren't getting the whole coastal stage...that ship has sailed....modeling is just oscillating between a coating to 2" and 2-4", which isn't too compelling.

Feel like a dynamic hyperbomb is susceptible to ticks, attenuation, or extreme phasing. This event on the other hand is dynamics at its most simple… we snow and we snow hard.
