Damn...was hoping the bears would pull it out. Not sure either can take down the Seahawks though.

It would be awesome if the garbage Jets had a QB like that Darnold guy up in Seattle........

Seriously though I do think the Hawks would have rolled the Bears - not so sure about the Rams - this game is in Seattle only because the Rams blew a huge lead in the 4th quarter a few weeks ago against the Seahawks...

What a game.  That was old school NFC right there.   Straight out of my childhood.

Old school would have meant the Bears taking the field goals a few times rather than the 4th down attempts that ended good drives with nothing.  Those points would have been the difference.

Yeah, that part would've seemed crazy 35 years ago.  But today was a physical defensive battle, and not settled by an official's call.

This has the potential to be a pretty significant rug pull...if you don't own a pair you better borrow or buy a pair of big boy undies

I'm telling you especially if you live north

After every exciting run, people should just mutter this to themselves: “It’s La Niña and I live near DC. It’s La Niña and I live near DC.”

If it fails I'm not sure how much of a "rug pull" it'll be seeing as we could very well know by 0z tomorrow whether suppression (the biggest fail risk) is gonna be an issue or not.

What makes you think tomorrow would be definitive? Trust me, we won't know yet.

Tomorrow is Tuesday.  You are not going to know anything definitive 5 days out.

However—I thought La Niña is basically is in its fade out period.  Hence why most Mets went for the more backloaded winter. Seems like we may be in that gray area now.

Bills fired McDermott

Life long bills fan here……I would’ve fired the GM first. What they’ve done to surround Allen with offensive weapons is criminal, but I understand firing McDermott. Despite consistently getting to the playoffs, they consistently fail to deliver in the biggest moments. Their owner wants to win really bad and they’re opening a new stadium next year. Might as well make the change now while you still have 5 years left on Allen’s contract.

Sounds similar to Harbaugh
