Spending less time looking at the models can help. I find the more I focus on whatever the weather frustration is, the worse it gets. So maybe limiting your time until we are actually in 5 day range may help

AmWx needs to have a get together in the Snow Belts and let Ji personally experience 6 inch an hour snow, watch that wind blow those huge dendrites around like dust! Sit on a beach chair and watch that snow pile up real fast!

Man these model runs showing the precip hole out here are a riot. I didn't move out here for snow although I thought it could be a plus having an extra temp cushion but no precip no matter. I experienced the biggest snow of my life in Leesburg and will always cherish it. Looking back at my life the biggest storms at each location.

Venice Beach- 1988 - 91 not a damn thing

Annandale - 1991 - 96 Blizzard of 96

Woodbridge- 1996 - 03 PD 2

Leesburg - 2003- 15 Winter 09-10 all of them

Lansdowne - 2017 - 22 nothing memorable

Get used to it.  The precip hole has been here for a couple decades and has steadily gotten worse.  That each and every model, which seemingly cannot agree on anything, now all show it for each and every event - even in the long range - is infuriating.   But, it's not the models; they are correct.  It's something that has happened to the climate.  We don't get gulf storms anymore, and we don't seem to get juicy OHV lows either.  And any coastal that forms are always too far east for us.

This is fairly accurate. Especially for the hazy ipas.....other half, fidens, treehouse, beer tree, finback, etc all make great hazies that are fairly interchangeable. Even locally here in central md, breweries like sapwood and crooked crab are putting out high abv (>7%) hazies that are right up there with the "more prominent" breweries. Where i find the most noticeable difference in quality is with barrel aged stouts. Not as many putting out ba stouts that I'll go out of my way to buy.

yeah - I mean that makes sense.  Bottom line - as they are arguing - is to be consistent.  Maybe they need some way to categorize and classify prior calls that can be quickly referenced during these reviews - so they can be consistent, or at the least if they decide to change how they are going to call it, they can reference past calls.
