Surprised we still have a full solid pack here probably 3-4" of crusty meat pretty shocked the rain and fog didnt eat it all away. Makes this event better than just bare ground. That is pretty accurate here, measured between 3 and 4 in the yard today...still sleddable too, not a solid glacier
Damage In Tolland
6 minutes ago, Damage In Tolland said: Honestly it’s the strangest pack I’ve had or seen around these parts. Most yards are between 70-100% . It’s literally different coverage in every yard .. and a lot is dependent on if the slope faces south or north . I’d be lying if I said 100 because it’s not . Grass under some trees . Other parts of my lawn have 2”. But if you look up and down any street it looks like deep winter I’d also say EOR spent more time in the low 40’s than WOR and y’all had 7-8” vs our 3-6. Sey-Mour Snow
Def wasn’t saturated .. barely flurries with that band . Looks like an area of moderate borderline heavy snow is approaching the NY state border. Good sign for later. .

weathafella
Happy New Year everyone! May you have health, peace, prosperity, and snow in 2026. My wife and I just walked for 90 minutes. Been a tough week-I caught a nasty cold somewhere but I think I have put the worst of it behind me. Skies with high thin clouds but stars easily visible. Let’s see what happens after 4-8 falls…..
