WalpoleJoe
I know it is not everybody's cup of tea and not meaning to start the debate yet again, but this, to me, has been a solid winter. I am 58 so have experienced pretty much all our spectrums, from the snowless 80's to the utter beauty of the Blizzard of 78. But the frequent light snow in the air (another dusting this AM with snow still falling) and cold temperatures since the start of December and through the holidays makes it feel like winter, even if I would like a better, snowier look to it. To me, worse than a winter with no snow is a winter with mediocre cold. My body, and the landscape, needs to feel the bitter cold winds every now and then. 7 1

I just meant from a pure snowfall totals number. But 2020 at least had deep pack from Dec 16-17th-Dec 24th, 8 days. So far its been Dec 26-27-Jan 4th, 8 days plus a bunch of days in mid December from Dec 14th. Both years were brown on Christmas Day.
