JSharp
6.5 inch total in Chadds Ford, PA. Major overachiever! Not used to an overperforming snow event. Most snowstorms post-Pandemic have underachieved compared with model outputs and forecasts. 2

Albedoman
ABE had officially 5 inches - just reported. Here at my house- nearly 7 inches. South Mountain Screamer for sure. From eastern Chester, Berks , Lehigh, Bucks, Northampton and into NJ all along the South Mountain Range and especially elevation driven - anywhere from 5- 8 inches of snow- take your pick. Geography rules folks. LVblizzard
Ended up with about 6” just west of Allentown. That was a fun storm. Love the overperformers.

Not sure how much but I'm guessing 5-6". Mod snow currently... Sounds about right. Up until yesterday, I really thought this would be 1-2” of fluff I could hit with the leaf blower. The downside of over performers is shoving.

Those nickel and dime storms get tiresome and old and overall a waste of time to track... 28F/breeze picking up
Hurricane Agnes
11 am in NW Philly - 5.75", There's a blob just to the west but I don't think it will produce much. Temp is down to 26 and falling with dp 22.
ChescoWx
It looks like we ended up with between 5" to 9" of snow across Chester County. Here in East Nantmeal we finished with 8.8". This will go down as the 17th largest December storm since 1893 here in Chester and SE Berks Counties. See the current top 25 below.
Berks_SnowMan
Amazing the difference between areas like Boyertown which got 6 inches and north reading which barely covered the grass..

Physicsteve
Comfortable calling it 7” here, though not to be confused with an official measurement. Was a good storm, especially for December, that reached its max potential. Happy it wasnt as localized as initially modeled and the meso’s caught the more expansive and robust precip coverage. I guess every now and then charlie brown can kick the ball before lucy pulls it.

RU848789
Final measurement around 11 am was 6.7"; as of 10 am we had 6.3" and then I did my 3rd shovel (so much easier in batches, lol) and as of 10:45 am with the snow winding down we had 6.6"; we got another 0.1" after that. Huge overperformer from my 5" guesstimate and the 4.5" NWS forecast (and some media forecasts for only 1-3" for our town).
LVblizzard
Just had a nice little flurry/snow shower while shoveling and clearing off my car. I love when that happens. It’s like the ultimate cherry on top.
Fields27
Very interesting storm. Overperformed in many parts of the sub. Im in central Berks and I feel like we were in between two death bands the majority of the storm. And with marginal temps the snow really struggled to pile up. The intersection in front of the house was never fully snow covered becasue of this. Still ended up with 4" which was above my expectations. But I am a little jealous of the 6"+ reports. Congrats everyone! Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk

Redmorninglight
Cape May about 1/2” total. Disappointed but not surprised. It’s never good to be on the southern end of a clipper. Congrats to all you guys up north who scored. .

Thats what physical geography can do with the South Mountain Range to the SE and the Blue Mt to the north. Adiabatic winds in banding snows is just like t- storms in the summer coming over the mts and hills and getting blown apart too. Sorry for your loss. SE Lehigh County and much of northern and central Chester Montgomery Bucks Counties was the jackpot area where the heavier band stayed together near the downslope side of S. Mtn and dropped additional precip. Northern Lehigh County had only 3-5 inches because of the way this storm traveled too. I am sure the final snow map from Mt Holly will clearly demonstrate this too
