It's weird cause I thought H5 was sharper going into it.  Precip just never gets going.

For 95 area at least, snow maps are worse because of the weird mix line that stays in place while it snows south of 95. QPF for Baltimore was 0.3 but 10:1 only shows 1-2 inches.

GFS pretty steady - very slight tick north but it's got such a tight band every tick matters I guess.

Yeah.  This is tough to even get too excited about yet.  Basically a Nowcast of where that thing even sets up.

No way to know what's correct right now. Sure we all have our preferences - and we're all still in the game. Fingers crossed for an outcome that benefits as many folks as possible.

What sux is the lack of a forum wide storm.

To be fair. Most Decembers none of us see a flake lol. I think we're spoiled with this pattern and we forgot how shitty December usually is.

Um, no? Most of us know, but watching areas well to the south cash in several times while T - .2" are what we have seen in the northern areas as the reality kinda blows.

I don't know why up here we would be "spoiled with this pattern". This pattern has been rather shite for many of us. Cold, dry, windy.

According to the gfs non of us need to worry about snow after this week. I wonder if we can beat the heatwave on Christmas back in 2017 when it was 77 on Christmas eve?

This honestly looks right. Tracks the climo over the last 10 years of the Dc to philly snowhole.

Where you been? Dc has got more snow than northern Md lately
