For 95 area at least, snow maps are worse because of the weird mix line that stays in place while it snows south of 95. QPF for Baltimore was 0.3 but 10:1 only shows 1-2 inches. T. August
GFS slightly more north. 2-3” dc-Philly. Horrible cutoff nw tho. After rgem and nam, something tells me this isn’t done shifting north, for better or worse.

Darkstorm
F that. And all the models show that to varying degreesI’d like to know what snow gods we pissed off. It feels like we are going for the golden sombero at this pace.

No way to know what's correct right now. Sure we all have our preferences - and we're all still in the game. Fingers crossed for an outcome that benefits as many folks as possible.

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
My gut here says Baltimore and points northeast for this one, usually we don’t do well with transfers like this at this latitude. But I’d be very happy with an inch or two before the arctic air.

Most of us know, but watching areas well to the south cash in several times while T - .2" are what we have seen in the northern areas as the reality kinda blows. I don't know why up here we would be "spoiled with this pattern". This pattern has been rather shite for many of us. Cold, dry, windy.

According to the gfs non of us need to worry about snow after this week. I wonder if we can beat the heatwave on Christmas back in 2017 when it was 77 on Christmas eve?
