I certainly wouldn’t mind a 13-14 repeat here, except this time add on the 3 March events that just missed us to our south in MD. 09/10 was simply perfect
Blizzard of 93
12z Euro has a good looking Winter storm chance on the 14th for us this run with a juicy system approaching from the south that passes underneath of us.

ChescoWx
Today and tomorrow look to be our last below normal temperature days for almost a week. This week will be a welcome but likely brief break from wintry temperatures. The warmest days look to be next Friday and Saturday with highs in the low to mid 50's. Those days also look to feature our next best chances of some rain. There is a slight chance of some light snow or flurries tomorrow morning. Voyager
What is it with the damn clouds every day? We had beautiful sunshine this morning and now it's overcast again. Perhaps I'd not hate winter so much if we could get some real sunshine between storms/disturbances.
WmsptWx
I can't remember ever going through a winter where I had absolutely zero idea what the hell is going on because of the constant change in outlook. I just saw an 8-14 day outlook posted by Warmanista Joe Snedeker showing AN temps Jan 11-17, where just yesterday I feel like I was reading that this week's warmup was expected to last just this week. The hell happened?
Blizzard of 93
The better workable pattern is moving up closer in time. Here are the day 8 to 13 looks for the 5 day period on the 0z EPS, 6z AI EPS & 6z GEFS.

Ensembles -see my post above & yesterday & the day before…- as they have shown for several days, are showing a workable pattern starting early next week. anotherman
Right but what the hell is causing this garbage consistency? I don't ever remember the models waffling this much. My opinion on that may not be well received here. Things are not as they have been in the past. The oceans are vastly altered in temperature and currents. These new variables make the long range more unpredictable. Models are struggling with it.
canderson
Got the car washed - which we’d get rain to get rid of the layers of salt.
Blizzard of 93
12z EPS day 10 to 15 still looks workable and day 15 ends on a good note as well. It’s just a matter of time until something trackable shows on the Op run again.

Itstrainingtime
To be completely fair - My first love when it comes to weather is snow. A close second is winter in general. And that is likely why MOST of us are here... This is; however, the American Weather forum. It is not solely about winter weather. There is a very active tropical thread that has the "hot" tag during every US tropical threat/event. Others are here for Severe weather...there are a couple in the MA thread that almost exclusively post only during the spring/summer storm season. I'll add here that I enjoy tracking weather events that are not snow producers in our area...one of the greatest storms I've tracked in my lifetime was Sandy. I just want to make sure that we all respect what each person happens to enjoy. I will also say that complaining about winter weather won't gather much sympathy since most here are rooting for just that. Including cold weather. 5
