Radtechwxman
18z wasn't as nice on nam's as it was on 12z for here. Im so close to being in that jackpot zone. Still will be a solid storm and will beat anything I got last year by a long shot. But man a slight shift south would be nice. Ha

CheeselandSkies
18Z 3K NAM backed off a bit from its prior few runs, down to a "mere" 8.2" for Madison by 18Z (noon CST) Sunday. Even that would be exceptional for before December 1st. However the 15Z RAP was all in on a top-end big dog with 15.5" at the same forecast hour.
Baum
The Kluber Met for LOT clearly suffering PWSSD- post traumatic winter storm stress disorder. Whole AFD is basically detailing potential fail modes. Last 5-7 seasons have done damage. Can’t blame him. 3

homedis
MKX went up to 8-13 Inches. Kind of shocked, actually. Interesting, they even mention lake enhancement. Doesn’t match up with LOT at all.Edit: looking at it again, its actually matches up. Just a really odd look to the LOT map with the 5-9” stripe in the heart of Cook County.

I’d like to think the overnight shift would come in and hoist a warning for their entire area with the exception of maybe Huron, Tuscola and Sanilac counties. EDIT: Actually after checking over that way, nah.. warning area wide would be wise. 6-8” all the way up to Port Austin.
cyclone77
DVN going all in with amounts generally 13 inches or more in the point forecast at locations near the QC. I would probably play it a bit more conservative with 8-12 with isolated higher amounts. Kind of splitting hairs though really as once you get over 8 inches it's a lot of snow regardless.
