MKX went up to 8-13 Inches. Kind of shocked, actually.

Interesting, they even mention lake enhancement. Doesn’t match up with LOT at all.

Edit: looking at it again, its actually matches up. Just a really odd look to the LOT map with the 5-9” stripe in the heart of Cook County.

Lmao. So Detroit has an advisory for 5-7", Ann Arbor has a warning for 5-8", and Toledo has a warning for up to 6".
Im sure the general public knows the difference

Thought the same thing! And the graphic shows 6-9” in my county!

 For real.

I’d like to think the overnight shift would come in and hoist a warning for their entire area with the exception of maybe Huron, Tuscola and Sanilac counties.

EDIT:

Actually after checking over that way, nah.. warning area wide would be wise. 6-8” all the way up to Port Austin.

DVN going all in with amounts generally 13 inches or more in the point forecast at locations near the QC.  I would probably play it a bit more conservative with 8-12 with isolated higher amounts.  Kind of splitting hairs though really as once you get over 8 inches it's a lot of snow regardless.

Fair enough. You can have my 8 I’ll take your 13.
