Probably assuming the cutter is real. Still some disagreement but I’d be shocked if we didn’t get at least one very mild day.

Sunday’s event is just for aesthetics for a few days…we’re gonna need something in the 12/22-12/25 range to get the White Xmas…and it’s possible we could get that…ensembles have been coming around to the idea of overrunning/SWFE potential when looking at the H5 anomalies heading into Christmas Eve.

yeah, not really a torch pattern with the -WPO encroaching into AK and the TPV elongated like that. sure, it's a torch for 75% of the CONUS, but who cares

We’d take a huge Xmas icer. All would

No man, all would not like an ice storm Christmas. I'll drive in the snow and be fine with that. But driving in ice is a absolute no! And I would venture to guess that a lot of us travel either Christmas Eve or Christmas day. But I'll be sure to put a good word into mother nature to make sure you have a good ice storm right in your hood.

AI and EpS ensembles both in good agreement after the 20th. So weird to see a bulging ridge in the Midwest like that, but they have it. Definitely clipper and/or overrunning potential. Also can’t rule out a cutter too. Why can’t we get that 1500 miles more west lol.

Few years ago we had snow to ice on Christmas Eve. It was not bad.

If I never saw 0.25 or more of ice again it'd be too soon cause I'm the guy who has to go clear our trail system after, 98 was pure devastation up here, you can keep that all south of the Pike as far as I'm concerned

Nice professional presentation with this.  However, with it being on Youtube, I noticed a decided lack of hype, sensationalism and errors that usually accompany weather related videos.  :D

It sucks because to get any traction at all on the platform you have to be ridiculously over the top. I'm hoping to build an audience/following there with reasonable forecasts but who knows.

Was thinking the same

I have noticed those national guys like to ignore the NE...just like when we have an arctic plunge into the center of the country that only produces pedestrian cold here, as we have so many times over the past decade.....all we hear about is how epic the airmass is. Inverse here.
