3.7” as of 45 minutes ago. It really is beautiful out. I’ve been moving into WXW2 in a short sleeve shirt all day. As much as I love snow that was not fun. Heading back to CT tomorrow but likely back in time for the more robust system midweek. Hoping to setup the VP2 then.

There’s been a lot of run to run variability on the shortwaves. Any one of them could actually produce but the prerequisite is really getting that western ridge amped up again…it’s flatter than it was yesterday. So hopefully that trends taller again and I’d bet we see some good solutions.

No reason to genuflect…screw the whiners, lol. They are the absolute worst. I’m all for a good melt every now and then, but the constant whining about model runs grates me 100x worse than someone posting nice snowfall pics from up north.

It’s all good haha. I was just busting. Hopefully SNE and WXW1 can cash in soon. Just have to hope something pops. The model runs are all over the place as to be expected but I agree with @40/70 Benchmark that folks should be meaningfully on the board by mid month.

It has been a great GREAT beginning to winter 2025-2026.  especially coastal SNE, should never expect any significant snow prior to Christmas.  But that goes for like 1/2 of SNE in general.  The expectations are wild though

 Well let’s take a step back . You’re buried under 8” of snow with more coming this week . I haven’t been whining at all , but absolutely frustrated and close to losing my shit , and I think I speak for Will and the rest of those who have gone snowless in the promised great pattern .  It’s easy to say this when you’re in deep winter .

I’d rather it was still 60°. I’m only happy about the pack because it’s cold. 

But it’s true. It’s 12/7. The whining is dumb. There’s 4 months of snow season left.
