Wow, I would have guessed maybe Maryland was furthest North for a palm.  The one you posted does have the advantage of being right up against a building.

Exactly. Thing is tucked into a corner, that faces the sun, and probably has compressor heat blowing on it.  Thing would never survive out in the open…period.   Silly and laughable to say that is a legit example.  It’s not.

I may not have mentioned it. Been a tough year. We got married in a small thing in September. She was pregnant earlier this year but we unfortunately lost the baby at 22 weeks to a rare genetic disorder. Obviously kind of turned our whole lives upside down

Sorry to hear. Had something similar happen to us 8 years ago with rare genetic disorder. Wishing for brighter times ahead my friend.

25.0 this morning...coldest so far. Not sure this winter will be much better than the last several but I do like that we've only been above 60F (61) once so far this month whereas last year we did that six times in the first half. Three of those were above 70F. Maybe a good sign?

I’m sorry to hear that. Our son had thanatophoric dysplasia. The doctor we ended up seeing at south shore had only seen it one other time in his career.

Completely traumatizing given how far along she was

So so sorry to hear this Brett..very sad.   But you both have reason to be happy and optimistic with what’s ahead for sure…as it seems you are. Congratulations to the both of you.

I can imagine. Especially for your wife, that’s traumatizing. I hope she’s getting any help she needs.
