Im directly behind Barnegat Inlet in waretown, on the Bayfront. The last squall that came through dropped heavy rain and we had several gusts over 45. I imagine Harvey Cedars highest gust may increase shortly. Somebody certainly will have 60-65 soon. The water level chart is what most of us on the water will have our eyes glued to over the next 36 hours.

Think we may see iso 45 MPH early Monday. already has a few power outages in the county. Nothing major down the coast on power. Think the bigger PO will be up here LI and NJ coasts overnight.

Big Jims Videos
I am really concerned about Monmouth / Ocean County beaches and bay flooding. We are seeing the Shark River already over one lane in Belmar (not unusual, and into Neptune Township. just wasn't expecting it this tide cycle) Barnegat Bay is already flooding areas on the eastern mainland shores. 2

Winds are pretty tame here in western Suffolk. Maybe gusting to about 25. I’m mid island about 6 miles from the coast, but still expected more by now

Please, no power outages up here tonight. If it wasn't a work night, I really wouldn't care. What areas of Sussex county are out already?

dseagull
Winds have actually relaxed somewhat here. I expected a higher push than we have recieved for this approaching high tide. Beginning to think that this storm may not break the 2.67 we received on August 21st, when Erin passed by farrrrr offshore.
