Some of my best memories as a kid are spending weeks down the cape in harwich with the fam and all my cousins and just relaxing, playing games, hucking rocks at seagulls and doing all sorts of crazy stuff. The days well before smartphones and the internet took over practically everything. It’s something you never forget and it kills me that half my family has either moved south or is no longer with us. It’s not the same without the people you love.

I spent a lot of time in Falmouth growing up.  Buzzards Bay is an amazing place.  Has it's own special type of weather on sea and shore.

Beaches are boring. How long can you sit on your ass ? Different strokes for different folks I guess. A day or two a year in the spring at Clearwater otherwise yawn. Outer Banks are fun too but it takes forever to drive to any good bars.

Love the beach. But I’m in the water a lot too and not sitting.

Yesterday’s euro really sucked with the storm clipping the Cape today. Had 1" here while most other models didn't bite, rightfully.

Hrrr had nothing really. That gave me pause. Currently drizzle in Eastham after a little bit of -RA.

Something we've needed to consider the last few years. Euro on an island is JAM, and usually tossed. That can be brutal in winter though when the weenies get extra feral for snow

Quick half inch of rain this morning.  Needed rain.

Reported zero precip to cocorahs for the 24th time this month.  We had 0.28" in about 30 minutes on the afternoon of the 17th and about 580 hours this month without a drop.

I don’t think I can ever recall everything burnt at the lake and green at home.

That 60-day dark green Weymouth pixel.

Is that 6” event you had within the last 60 days?  It all blends together but I believe so, right?

His webbed hands have been wrapped around our throats in N ORH county

Most of the RT 2 corridor is way below, normal rainfall.  Greenfield is that little yellow square in Franklin County that’s closer to normal, but that’s only because we had that isolated downpour last week that dropped close to an inch of rain.
