Chrisrotary12 Posted yesterday at 09:45 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:45 PM 9 hours ago, weatherwiz said: The NAM argues for a an organized swath of wind damage from central/southern CT across RI and SE Mass. NAM has some major dewpoint pooling through the afternoon with dewpoints into the mid 70's. Despite the weak lapse rates 2000+ MLCAPE and 35-40+ knots of bulk shear is pretty hefty for these parts. Always CT. Just far enough south, west, north and east for everything. 1

Turn that flow back from the south Sunday off that warm current and they’re right back 1
kdxken Posted yesterday at 11:25 PM Share Posted yesterday at 11:25 PM Anyone know where the closest cooling station is to Worcester? Heat index got up to 86 today! Even with the stiff cooling wind it's become unbearable.

powderfreak Posted yesterday at 11:50 PM Share Posted yesterday at 11:50 PM Warm day. Locally, MVL hit at least 89-90F in the valley. It’s alarming how comfortable it felt with dews only in the mid-60s instead of low to mid-70s. We are moving goalposts rapidly now after the heat/humidity so far this summer. Mid-60s dews feel not so bad. Was low-70s above 3Kft. Really nice evening up high.
