Idk if all of that can be assumed from that data.. too far apart geographically for those temperature deltas to be attributable to ONLY the sensor accuracy and/or local environment effects. The weather in Baltimore (MD Science Center) and DC could be very different (or anywhere else for that matter). Especially in a month where backdoor fronts can easily cause a 30 degree temperature delta between NoVA and the M/D line. 

You need to be looking at other stations within like 5 miles of DCA to make that comparison mean much

Same here.  Constant vivid lightning and thunder, but  no rain. The storm is just sitting to my southwest with no movement.

Watched for an hour as a storm on radar took direct aim on my yard.  It dissipated just before it arrived.  Sun is back out.

Lots of thunder here as a storm misses just to the west. But a new storm developing in Laurel-Savage has my neighborhood written all over it.

Did a 3 mile walk earlier and I'm pretty certain the sun is actively trying to kill us today. Humidity and full sun was abysmal in the Lowlands. UGH

10:30 with a temp of 86 and a Heat Index of 97. Am seeing lightning all around but even with all this soup have not been able to squeeze an inch of rain out.
