One thing for certain is that CLT is pushing their last bank of flights out like bam bam bam! They know something is bearing down on the city. Im on the NE side of the city and the airport is basically due west about 20miles...

Why does it seem like this first wave is multiple hours ahead of schedule?  My forecast, and RAH, is saying snow well into the afternoon tomorrow.  Thats a loooong event if the precip shield fills in.

Churvul

Yep. We moved up here 4 years ago from SC. When I took the job in Gastonia, one of my staff said “y’all should look for a house in Churval.”   My wife looked at him and said “where in the world is churval?”  :D

They have been delayed on the average of 8-10 mins tonite. Only 6 more departures for the night and 3 of them are cargo

Wyff radar says it's snowing over Easley right now, including my neighborhood but I don't see the first flake, or even sleet. Just 36.7 degree rain. And it's about to dry slot anyway.

Ugh, I just warmed up a degree in Kernersville.  The cold air is parked up at the farm in Stuart about 30 miles north.  34.8° there at 1,400' elevation.

I'm in Stokes County now trying to start my hobby farm. Lived in Kernersville from 1987 until a little over a year ago. We've only had one snow that covered the ground since moving here so I'm hoping for a decent one this year.

Currently 39° and cloudy

Fairly heavy rain with sleet in between Uptown and South Park. Just realize I’ve lived here since 2010 and I cannot recall a significant all snow event since I’ve been here.
