PWSs just south of downtown EC reporting 4-6".  Pretty sharp gradient right near there.  

 

1-2mi to my east reporting 2-3".  Only 1.15" IMBY.

This storm has entirely missed me by half a mile... give or take. Second time today. Tomorrow will be fun... i hope.

I am in Ocean City.. are they flooding in EC?  4-6 is big..

Some streams in/around EC are flash flooding. Haven't seen anything about downtown.  Heaviest rain has been just downstream.

Main Street seems fine. Sounds like other parts of EC and Catonsville, as well as the city, have considerable flooding.

Leesburg again, eh? Looks torrential down there but maybe some movement to the storm... More so than the cluster that was around EC.

At 701 PM EDT, widespread flash flooding was reported, especially in
the Catonsville, Oella, Arbutus, and Lansdowne areas. There was also
a significant flood wave moving down the Patapsco River with
flooding beginning in the Patapsco State Park and Elkridge areas.
Over three inches of rain have fallen in some locations. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash
         flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

      Definitely.    The ground is already very wet in parts of the area, there could be more storms later tonight, storm chances are good tomorrow and maybe Friday, and we then have to deal with the weekend.
