cardinalland Posted July 21, 2019 Share Posted July 21, 2019 For some reason, my thermometer has stuck closer to the Park than anything else. It has stayed a little cooler. That might be because my neighborhood in upper Manhattan is a little cooler than many others (based on maps I have seen), and my sensor is higher up next to an apartment. I'm at 89.8F now. Heat Index stayed above 110 from 11:15 AM to 5:55 PM, 6 hours and 40 minutes. Heat Index stayed above 120 from 2:08 PM to 2:09 PM, just 1 to 2 minutes, ultimately peaking at 121.3°F (97.3°F/81.6°F).
