Nice Euro run!

Maybe a tick colder especially in northeast MA into Boston metro through 6z

Continues near or above warning level snows through most of SNE, with > 1" qpf total

It seems to hold off coastal front intrusion for longer, and flip to sleet in Boston metro comes after 5z

Verbatim this run looks like a 3-6" in Boston metro inside 128, > 6" for most of interior

Euro looked decent.  The model may be on to something here with its southerly trend tonight with the its precipitation.  Translation, it means a colder situation with a more offshore track taking the precipitation shield which means the snow hangs on a little longer than forecast for the mid levels. Also with the Euro, it shows a decent amount of precipitation, meaning this is obviously a hiccup by the GFS tonight.  These are good trends. We'll see how this translates today about 17-18 hours from now.

This in Maine as well.  I was progged for 4 and sitting at 15.  You need to go WAY inland (past a DS to Augusta line) to find any widespread single digits.  Swing and a miss on that one.  Looks like the kitchen sink for here amounting to a few inches.  Congrats, Jeff.
