9" just about final.   Wind gust past hour to 37mph in my north protected wind location.

Town just finished plowing and is applying the sand/salt layer.  Problem is that the blowing and drifting is so severe right now that it just gets covered up.

Heard a report of 6 to 8 foot drifts at my drift location on RT 49 in Ryan's favorite town Ekonk CT

While this isn't one of my more memorable snow events, the shear meteorological awe of this storm earns it honorable mention in my book.

Was it not as memorable due to it not being a huge, 24”+ event?  The winds and coastal aspects make this very memorable for me.

About 11 here.  Could have been a 12-18 had the deform pivot been a bit further east.  Still an awesome storm.

everyone in your town 11-13....9 to perhaps 10 here

West Springfield had the band a little longer too....great storm from a hobbyist perspective

That is what earns it mention....the pressure, too.

But in strict terms of snowfall, it was fairly forgettable....I'd rate 12/9/05 and even the mid level magic system ahead of it by a hair.

Great storm, though....not complaining at all.

And in general terms, about as unforgettable as they come...I understand this.

Epic to be honest.

This storm will ultimately be remembered for its low pressure and the coastal flooding. The most recent BOX Storm Report list indicates 75 homes in Winthrop were flooded to the first floor. Haven't seen specific reports from other communities but it is clear other homes/business also took damage.
