Another underperforming rain event today...looks like less than .10 for most.

 

Hopefully, we get at least a brief heavier shower to hit the rain bucket in NYC today.

 

NYC needs .61 before the month is over to get out of the top ten driest Marches.

The park is currently at 0.75 for the month and the tenth driest March is 1.35.

 

So NYC has a shot at a top ten driest and warmest March since the temperature departure

is +6.8.

 

Much more of a La Nina March with warm and dry as opposed to the wet and warm or wet and

cold  for El Ninos.

What would cause the small positive departure in NC? Training thunderstorms?
