Congrats eastern New England on the nice day today...nice little graphic from GYX.

Some of those same areas will be among the colder spots tonight, too.

 

One nit-picky thing, outside of the outer Cape, eastern Mass is not really in eastern NE (unless you're simply diving E/W with no central area.)  I've always been bothered that Boston was dropped into ENE.  It just ain't the case.

I usually agree with MPM but Boston is most certainly Eastern New England.

 

New England spans from about 73.5W to 67.4W with the midpoint being 70.45W. 

 

Boston is located at 71.04W.

 

So--geographically, it's west of the mid-point.  Rockport is 70.61W.  So, my pet peeve is that "eastern SNE" is interpreted as ENE.  Not the same animal.

well that is very true, only Maine is ENE
