That was quite a couplet earlier...only lasted one volume scan though.

Came together fast too... 0 to tornado in five minutes. One interesting thing, there was a study done in Illinois, I believe, investigating how extreme changes in topography (urban to rural, for example) have a statistically significant higher percentage of tornado touchdowns. I'll see if I can find a link.

Pretty sure I just witnessed a cone-shaped funnel cloud looking north from 60 State in downtown Boston. Became obscured fairly quickly and couldn't tell if it made it to the ground, but it certainly compelled my attention for a minute or two!

Any pics? The circulation certainly went just to your north.
