Band building back north into NE-NJ.  Very heavy snow in C-NJ.  Hearing 9.5 at EWR?

Queens and Brooklyn, it's our turn now... absolutely ripping here in Forest Hills and should do so for at least another few hours... that band is crawling and getting enhanced from the SW... 7.5" and increasing rapidly.

Moderate snow, blowing snow, fog in Port Jefferson...inch of snow in the past hour...now 7.5 inches on the ground...temp 15 F.

Would one of the pro mets give us their take on this.

The surface low (998mb) looks way south of the model guidance.- ATM-

If the trough has tilted negatively already i doubt it would escape east like that. ( not a pro met just my observation )
