downeastnc Posted January 22, 2014 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Snowing harder now than it has all night flakes are not as big as earlier but the rate is much better and the snow is really dry now so hopefully rates have improved might get 2" total at this rate by the time its all said and done. In other words, one of those go to bed with nothing and wake up with two inches and no school kind of storm. You know, like we used to have in the "old" days. Drove from King to Dobson back to Winston and everything is bone dry even on back roads. There will be no major black ice. I'm sure a spot or two.
