The R/S is around us somewhere. Im using WeatherTAP and it shows everywhere north of hudson county as snow, and the R/S splitting L.I, north snow, south rain. NYC is right on the line. I'm still raining though in Hudson County so IDK

Western Hudson County in Harrison we hae all IP at 33.4F degrees,  there are numerous times during winter situations that it sleets or snows in western Hudson county while eastern sections east of the NJ Turnpike are non freezing rain.

In all reality, there is no a "line" per say and some of the isolated areas of mix/pl/snow have been precip. rate driven. We have been having sn/pl here for the last 30-40  min.

I am down to 34 in Western Nassau and I am starting to mix.

Folks - your observation posts would be much more useful if you had your location in your profile.  By the way, does anyone have a link for the best radar for showing the rain/snow line (that's not a pay service) in our area?  Thanks.
