Fozz
One of the rainiest days here since the remnants of TS Lee. Our lawn is now full of puddles and we had to drain the pool to stop it from overflowing.

mattie g
1 hr precip estimates Nasty. I know it's easy to compare it to something that only happened a year ago, but it reminds me a lot of what we saw here with Lee. Heavy rain early in the day, then training heavy rains later on in the day. I have to admit that I'm glad that's not me gain this time.

wxmeddler
I'm in Millersville for school but at home in Severna Park my station has picked up 2.33" in the past 24 hours and 1.34" in the past hour and that's the tip gauge which usually underestimates by as much as 10% in high rain rate events. mattie g
That line stretching from King George down into North Carolina is impressive. I hesitate to say that it looks oriented towards the DCA/IAD vicinity, because I don't know if I want the rain or not. Could be a jinx either way.
