burrel2 Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 I drove to the top of Six Mile “Mountain.” It’s basically a big hilltop in southern Pickens county and 8 miles northeast of my house. The elevation there is 1570’. Anyways, in the heavier batches of precip it would switch over to a very wet snow. It never quite switched over to fat fluffy flakes though. Steady rain at my house now and looks like more precip coming from Charlotte and south-west of there. I may see a change over this afternoon. EDIT Steady rain just knocked me down into the upper 30s.
