  1. Past hour
  2. Next month is our time fellas. I just feel it.
  3. Nothing snow-wise here in Tamaqua, but I saw quite a bit of it from Scranton and north on 81. The roads got rough for a bit up there. I went to Waverly NY, and saw two rollover wrecks. A pick up truck on its roof in the median, and a car on its side in a ditch. Also a few spinouts into walls on the bridges.
  4. We do limited items on occasion like pizzas on Wednesdays and pulled pork sandwiches on Tuesdays, but our space is very limited for kitchen items as our brewery takes up most of the other space outside of the pub. We do have food trucks (just had a lobster one this past weekend) and allow food to be brought in from the other restaurants in town.
  5. That was my first winter in Michigan. Came back from Christmas in Ohio to snow on the ground and didn't see grass again until almost the middle of March.
  6. First flakes in Downtown Boston. Hard to even call this a flurry, just a few stragglers making it down
  7. Not sure if this was already posted, but just an amazing thread from @griteater. This post is my key takeaway:
  8. Rt2 actually had some down this morning by exit 79.. I think it was slick for a bit
  9. Leaves are a PITA, I set up new house with as little maintenence as possible. When I was younger I loved working on the lawn all day, as I got older I hate it.
  10. Yes that's definitely impressive. I was skeptical that a November SSWE was going to be a head fake, but it's becoming more evident the Euro and it's ensembles might be onto something here. At the very least, I'm glad that we aren't looking at some compact polar vortex that just locks up all winter.
  11. One thing to note is even if the G number is high you need a negative Bz on top of that for a show. That won't be known until it hits. Negative is south which is what you need.
  12. Usually Snowshoe being 1300 ft. higher than Davis is a favored spot. Quinwood 20 miles west/southwest and 2000 ft. lower than Snowshoe's 6 inches reported 9 inches. Weird. Upslope didn't work exactly right this time around.
  13. Barely above here. 32.2 for our high a couple of hours ago. Back below 30 now and windy. Still did the dog loop.
  14. 32.7 was high here . Would have been nice to whiten the ground . Oh well
  15. I am hoping for a May 2024 type of event overnight and perhaps something good making it until after sunset tomorrow evening.
  16. First sub 32 degree high of the season for me here in Burlington, CT....1,240'
  17. Two X class flares over the last two days but a larger X flare just went off today.
  18. Only mood flakes here, though nothing at the moment. Overcast is featureless, suggesting that there's flakes between there and here. Very November-y.
