  1. Past hour
  2. Do you feel confident in getting atleast a MECS next year in a Nino?
  3. That 21.5 measurement in Gloucester County can't be correct. That spotter (1 W Pitman), along with myself (Washington Twp), both had a 16" measurement around the same time this morning. Other than some light snow, the storm is over. 5 hours later and that same location picks up 5.5 inches? Nope. No chance. Spotter card should be pulled. lol
  4. Sorry to hear about this! It is a tough no win situation many times. Most people have no idea how many pieces must come together for a Winter storm to materialize in a localized area. When you add in significant business decisions that can impact the bottom line, it can get really complicated & polarizing.
  5. Psu never said east. He said Canadian showed modoki
  6. Every time. Funny how random strangers can share the same intense emotions, and conversely feel estranged from people immediately around them who don't get it. The chase, the exhilaration as the unlikely breaks our way, the thrill of the event, the sleep deprivation... then it's over and mundane reality returns. I jokingly warned my wife earlier tonight that I'm having post-storm dopamine withdrawal. Part of what keeps us coming back every year.
  7. see I always find this funny as fuck why? Harrisburg normally uses hia as where they get the snow report from but then Middletown usually uses the airport location too but yet they get 2 different measurement's in every storm. My dad lives right near the airport you can see it from his yard. the grassy areas got 5.5 inches the side walks about 3.7
  8. To paraphrase Jim Morrison - just broke on through to the other side. Going with 31”. Hard to gauge but measured a few spots and subtracted some pack.
  9. Checking in from Plymouth, south of downtown on 3A. 6’ drifts, impossible to measure. No state plows all day. Lost half a dozen shingles on my new roof. No power since 7am. Wood stove cranking, kids asleep. Making memories.
  10. 18Z RGEM for Thursday into Friday is nice
  11. I think Berlin probably had the best rates, the mesonet snow depth chart is insane, close to 5 maybe 6" per hr, I can't imagine anywhere exceeded that
  12. THE SIMPSONS Greatest Hits: “Mr. Plow” - Film Inquiry
  13. Warminster...creative, it's a damn mailbox. Too bad we won't have the bitter cold so it could hang around. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1b2yhZUJVs/
  14. Moderate snow just about all evening. Another half inch added to the storm total. Temp at 15.
  15. What's with that? Why won't they update the Central Park tally?
  16. My extentended family moved to Pine Island, They keep getting hit with hurricanes but like it. Hurricane Charlie was the worst, they said.
  17. I'm good if it stays around until April 1.
