I think we've had 4 tornado warnings in Longview this year. No touchdowns that I'm aware of. Last night sure was close to another as the rotation was headed towards Longview again but the storm weakened as it got here, thankfully. This evening will be interesting again for the same areas of SE OK down towards Paris/Texarkana. Not sure how far south storms will make it or if they'll be very strong by the time they reach Longview. There's a stationary boundary stretching from roughly Ardmore-Sherman-Tyler-Nacogdoches. That may help focus storms, we shall see.

1.0" of new rainfall today so far, with a raw and cold temperature of 36 degrees at 4pm here. Binghamton Nws is still going with a rain/snow mix after 10 pm tonight here.

The models are starting to go bonkers with multiple TC’s developing in the PAC over the next week…..

Leaving UVA for the semester next Friday and I'm pissed now that I've realized I won't get a single shot of a shelf cloud over grounds. There hasn't even been a single opportunity! Seriously, our severe weather game this year seems unusually weak.

Back from Florida keys. Painful getting on that plane today. It would be one thing if we had 60s to look forward to. The New England fake spring exhaustion is real. Lot of folks with 2nd homes staying put down south watching this nonsense. .

I would say likely not based on nowcasting. Up here in the SW Lehigh Valley I have received around 0.10 this far and the back edge is swinging through central PA. Forecast was around 0.75”.

Finally getting a good soaking rain

Pretty based that the timing actually looks okay for N IL to get a not nighttime show. Was tempering my expectations based on the SPC maps

We got a big fat zilch! Zero point zero today. I bet we get absolutely nothing the next week too. I literally watch the radar, and 20 miles to my west the rain just disappears. I'm so done with this crap. We literally have had maybe 2 Inches of rain the last 4 months. This is insane. Oak trees are looking bad. Yellow leaves, and staring to drop leaves

Workable temps. We might have past the inflection point in which cold fronts don’t feel quite as miserable. Some rain incoming…not much, but it’s something.
