  1. Past hour
  2. Definitely the prettiest snow of the season for us! None of that pixie stick stuff from the last "storm" that blew around everywhere. This is paste job!
  3. There has been a signal for a while for a good system in the SW around 3/5-3/9. It's been showing up intermittently on the models. Time frame is correct for a repeat of the mid-January system that triggered (or emerged from) the pattern change. Doubt anything resembling the true outcome will show for another 3-5 days though.
  4. I should be complaining here instead, so I will. Yes, storm is not over, but I was under a winter storm warning that began at 3pm and have wet pavement so far. It goes to show, some types of systems still expose modeling errors.
  5. Oh this just keeps getting better, the good old eye ball measurement SMH
  6. Been snowing heavy for an hour now. Not sure how much longer it will last
  7. When does the wind pick up west of the bay? Overnight? At all?
  8. Up to 3.8" now. That's almost a 2" per hour rate over the last hour. 31.3F
  9. Sorry for Morristown. They previously had 18-25. I’ll be happy if I get double digits
  10. there is reason to be a bit skeptical of the big totals west of 287. Especially because a couple models seem to have ticked east with the heaviest earlier today, and unless we get big time banding out here, 20+ is just a dream. I'm still thinking high single digit/low double digit totals are within reach.
  11. So we are too far west. That’s a first. Gotta laugh. The clown knows that
  12. Game on…starting to pick up steam here now. Just the start and radar looking very healthy and increasing.
  13. Putting this here so it doesn't get lost. From a red tagger in NE threads. Good read for those who are obsessed with the miller a/b distinction for our region.
  14. Total on ground. I clarified the post. We're pushing 3" now, but thats from eyeballing the stake..not a measurement from the snow board.
  15. That's how I was up in SLK during the SN+ the other day. I didn't dare mention it to my wife.
  16. Those bands south of Long Island mean business, we're going to pile up big time when those come ashore. Crazy to think that there's going to possibly be another 15-18 hours of this. I'm starting to think that 2 feet is possible for a lot of us at the coast.
  17. I couldn't bring myself to get that close to that big ass heater. I've seen it do evil things along the shore. I nailed this spot. It looks like 5-6" otg and it's just now getting going. I'm noticing a little bit of blowing off roofs so it's getting colder and windy.
