Only limiting factors I see towards greater coverage are the "lower dewpoints" - 60's aren't bad but would like to see like 68-70+ and llvl convergence looks a little weak. Anyways, steep lapse rates aloft and good height falls so can't sleep on it

Just got back from DC. Oldest Ms. J was checking out her new apartment. We headed to IKEA and then looked at radar. Told her we needed to not linger. Got to 270 and saw the line coming in and ditched to 28. Made a good decision to do that as 270 got slammed. At home got 0.37”. Hoping for a bit more but will take what I can get.

Basically stationary storm over me for the last 45 minutes, picked up another 0.70" to bring my two-day total up to 2.95" with plenty more on the way

For June in Fuquay Varina HIghest temp was 98. That was three times. June 23, 24 & 25 rainfall: 4.67 Got danced around by so many storms this past month. Could have had so much more!

NWS needs to either relocate that equipment outside the park or just use the data internally and not give access to it to the media or the public. Let the media use LGA or JRB or JFK or some combo of these.
