  1. Past hour
  2. Nearby cell is bombing CGs. Line needs to fill in a little extending SW for good rain coverage though.
  3. Crazy that peak summeh is behaving like this.
  4. Woo-wee, I thought I'd escape the heat by heading north but its been hot the past week in the finger lakes and now Niagara falls. At least the humidity is low. Been dry too, grass is burned up and they just issued a burn ban, not that sitting by a campfire sounds appealing right now.
  5. It will be interesting to see if Thursday’s drought monitor report shows Northwest Massachusetts as “abnormally dry”.
  6. Greenfield only hit 88° on Sunday but yesterday and today have been 92° and 93° respectively. It sure feels like a heat wave.
  7. Yeah I didn't miss the humidity last week
  8. Yesterday we had .26" just before sunrise and another .10" in the evening. Pouring rain right now.
  9. Torching even on the water is impressive.
  10. You'll need the Panic Room from time to time as we experience Pattern Reloading and snow weenies panic, but most of the time its gonnabe forlorn. Because DCA and the entire greater metro region will get demolished by Brobdingnagian amounts of snow. And vodka cold.
  11. Yeah, good point Jeff, Atlantic or Gulf TC activity can either help or hurt by reinforcement of a heat Ridge. Timing of propagation.
  12. BOS now with 2 consecutive AOA 90. Tomorrow should make it 3. Perhaps one more 3 day heatwave this month before we wrap it. Warm September but tougher to achieve 3 days AOA 90 then.
  13. No. The 82 was the only high of 80 or above and just the third 80 or above high on record for November.
  14. Heat wave achieved here. High of 91.8° so far.
  15. snow filled lol it sounds like they are describing a doughnut or something
  16. Today
  17. That 82 last November on 11/1 was also pretty crazy, didn't JFK hit 80+ multiple times in the first week of November last year?
  18. My absolute favorite was that 95 on 10/2/2019 (with a heat index of 100). So I think 100 in September is possible here one day, but those records from 1983 are still really hard to beat, that 98 in 1983 has been in place for over 4 decades now. 1983 was incredible for June, July, August and September all being WAY above normal and 100 degrees in both July and August!!!!
