In the past models often "shove" the LP into the CAD too much at this stage. It's hard to tell if that will translate to such an extreme event but I am hopeful we will see the HP push win out some more than it is.

Yeah GFS OP looks it could be on the southern side of the ensemble envelope. GEFS brings some non-negligible precip into the area.

It was more a consolidation than a real shift north or south. Just had more members that ejected the low and had a storm which appears as a shift north.
