  1. Past hour
  2. It was pouring for a few minutes when I left Columbia…I work by the mall. Looked like some isolated cells, but was surprised to see it.
  3. I has one living under my shed for a couple of years, didn't see him last year so I assume he's gone.
  4. Tomorrow and Thursday will be partly sunny and warmer. Temperatures will likely rise into the lower and middle 70s. Another system could affect the region Friday into Saturday before a cooler drier air mass arrives. Showers and perhaps some heavy thunderstorms are possible. Following the weekend, it will turn warmer and drier. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +0.1°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was -0.1°C for the week centered around April 30. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +0.68°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged -0.05°C. Neutral ENSO conditions will likely continue through at least early summer. Early indications are that summer 2025 will be warmer than normal in the New York City and Philadelphia areas. The potential exists for a much warmer than normal summer (more than 1° above normal). The SOI was -1.51 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was +1.509 today.
  5. Almost 40 degree temp rise today to 77 from the morning low of 38. The ground fog/very shallow inversion mixed out just after sunrise skyrocketing temps 15 degrees in a little over an hour.
  6. Temps hit mid-upper 80's along the shore with W winds today. Awesome summer day.

  10. Depending on which autoimmune it can be very tricky. I have sarcoidosis, my mom has Lupus, my aunt MS. For sarcoidosis non-caseating granulomas on Lymph nodes is the key. The problem lies in that the only way to tell if that is present is through biospy. I had to be out under to get a Endobronchial ultrasound-guided biopsy. The other issue is that just being sick often causes swollen Lymph nodes. The swollen lymph nodes did show up on my cat scan and partially on the X-ray. My cousin's case is rare because sarcoidosis doesn't usually go to heart. His lymph nodes were not super swollen. The massive inflammation in his heart did not show up on CAT scan at all. As he started deteriorating over months they did a normal 24 hr fasting PET. He was lucky a keen eyed radiologist spotted something barely. Normally you need at least a 48-72hr fasting PET for it to show up well. Lupus took a year of all kinds of doctors and testing. It wasn't caught till it expressed itself in a rash that would not go away and my mom's dermatologist was able to do a punch biopsy and use Direct Immunofluorescence to confirm it. I wish well. Your story just brought back memories of myself and family members dealing illnesses that were extremely frustrating and felt all encompassing. The imaging and biospy were just one part of the dx. I also have extended family members with uveitis, Sjögren’s, colitis, Crohn's. All of them were literal hell to get to bottom of. Hope you feel better Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
