  1. Past hour
  2. This screams NYC and NJ. There will be a bunch of have nots
  3. Maybe this quasi-PRE can produce and someone floods tomorrow.
  4. This is a childish perspective though Meteorology is not relegated to a single regions like that we are not decoupled from the continental circumstance. But in the end, this is all just subjective anyway. If the wind switched southwest, that heat would be available to this region. The back of summer being broken should to me mean is no more heat is available or likely to occur. Neither of those circumstances are true at this time and you know why… Because it’s only August 18.
  5. Let’s see how much rain we get; looks like anywhere from .25” - 1.00”… We will see. Definitely need rain in E CT
  6. Every winter outlook I have seen so far on YouTube have the east very cold and lots and lots of snow due to neutral enso to weak la Nina.
  7. What in the sam hell is that? Holy shit . I would run as fast ad I could if I saw that beast .
  8. More invasive garbage https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/boston/news/hammerhead-worms-maine/
  9. To borrow a Scooter euphemism - Tomorrow looks like ass.
  10. Enough of this misty mountain horseshit. It's been nonstop drizzle since yesterday. Talk about milquetoast weather, grow a spine already, would you?
  11. Today
  12. But if there's something encouraging about the last 2 years, it's that Baltimore and DC received snow. We didn't see that much from 16-17 to 22-23. Average snowfall 16-17 to 22-23 BWI: 9.1 inches DCA: 6.8 inches Average snowfall 23-24 and 24-25 BWI: 12 inches DCA: 11.5 inches

  14. Yesterday
  15. First time grandparent back in February for me. She's an angel. Dry here too even though I'm at 1.7"" for the month. Most of that came in a short amount of time with last week's heavy thunderstorm. Hopefully some meaningful rain tomorrow
  16. Dewpoints in the 40s down to Florida in August?
  17. Nearest buoy seeing nearly 40 foot waves to the east.... but the sensors have suddenly stopped sending temp or wind readings 67 knots was last recorded wind speed
  18. Humidity taking its time leaving the area. Dews now in the upper 60s to around 70 with light northeast winds. This upcoming weekend is going to be glorious
  19. The last forecast for the week of 8/25 off the weeklies and it turned out to be the coldest forecast of all!
  20. You need to find a new hobby...... Your posts are pretty annoying and don't contribute anything to this board.
  21. I think most logical folks on here, including me, would agree that winters back can be broken in mid-late February. Winter just doesn’t feel the same after that period, just as summer does not feel the same from here on out
  22. Looks like Bradish and Wells will be back in the Bigs and pitching in the next 2 weeks. https://www.baltimorebaseball.com/sports/orioles-mlb/2025/08/18/bradish-return-orioles-starting-rotation-next-week-richdubroff/ Add them to Rogers and Kremer, and you have the makings of a solid rotation with Povich and others in the mix, and Grayson possibly back next season. That said, can't count on so many guys rebounding from serious injuries, so we need an actual GM who will be aggressive in signing a top tier pitcher in the offseason.
  23. It’s more meant for this region that the back is broken. It certainly isn’t broken for the central US yet since there can still be consistent 85-90 humid days right through Columbus Day.
  24. High of 88. Very humid today and that gave us a surprise thunderstorm. Ended up with .28". Now at 8.62" for the month.
