    Got rocked. If anyone sees my patio umbrella let me know, last seen flying east towards towards the Potomac river. Large 4” diameter branch from our sweet gum tree currently in the front yard, neighbors basement flooded, all from .82” of rain in about 15 minutes. Wind gust estimated probably over 60mph. Miraculously power remains. @H2O how did you fair, looked more intense over your way.

    Geez, got back home and there’s a tree down across the road. Couple limbs down around the neighborhood. Everyone’s outside.

    Looking at the sky, you wouldn’t think it’s about to rain. Setting sun, behind the clouds, in the west, brightens them up from underneath the deck. Only happens this time of year here. And this time of day.

    Best part of this storm is the current vivid double rainbow .

    About a half inch or so in the Five Towns and a couple tenths in Long Beach. Degraded to crap as they almost always do there.

    Just got to watch two separate double rainbows play out. Sadly didn’t get lucky with a lightning shot.

    Well, if loving when it's below zero with a 25 mph wind makes me mentally ill, I'm the poster child. This weather can go to hell. It already feels like it.

    We didn’t fall below 100 until just before 7:00 at my house. Absolutely incredible, hottest day I can ever remember. Peaking at 100 is one thing but sitting between 100-104 for over 6 hours is unheard of here
