Hail threat was observed, I updated it to include up to 2 inch hail possible. We've had golf balls so far, but MRMS was estimated between 2.25 and 2.75 inches.

Just had a thunderstorm with some heavy rain and a bit of wind... run of the mill. Just north of here in Southern Dutchess looks like they were hit decently hard.

Good news is I finally got a flush hit. Bad news is there’s a pine tree on my brand new shed

Took this about an hour ago. Looks like clouds are building along I95.

My brother lives there but towards the Farmington line. Missed the core by 3.5 miles. Did lose power briefly but no hail

There’s 65-70 DBZ scanned south of New Britain. That’s intense. OKX radar sampling that at 3,800ft elevation it looks like.
