I am hoping that intensity stays together as it pushes towards Easton. Pretty consistently the energy slowly falls apart as it pushes southwest

Home from the beach and in some of the steadier rain and up to about .40” for the storm. I’ll be sad if this is the last batch. I love a fall rainy Sunday.

There are a couple of CoCoRaHS stations near Huntington too. It’s easy to go back and see their reports while you were away.

Yeah there's a cocorahs by me that has 2.25" for the past seven days.  Must've had some heavy rain at some point last week.

Here in Alexandria spent the day transplanting hydrangeas. Soil/clay is pretty saturated well below the surface, the stream across the intersection is back that comes from sump pumps up the street when the water table is up, and the river birch isn't yellow. All signs to me that the drought in my neighborhood is effectively over. Low sun angle and days of light rain/drizzle in the 60s doesn't hurt.
