Going to be perhaps the best beach day of the season. Golden sunshine, deep blue skies, light wind, temps between 75-80, and water temps in the low 70's

72 / 55 off a low of 53.  Nicest day of the weekend sun-wise.  Upper 70s / low 80s a bit cooler beaches.  Overall above normal and nice mainly dry week warmest days Tue / Wed mid - upper 80s max, otherwise hovering close to 80 through mid month.  Sprinklers back on here this week. Beyond there overall near normal and still will need to watch ridge position.

Relatively cooler over the Midwest due to the record rainfall with the severe storms leading to the new tornado record for Illinois.

Dipped below 60 for the first time at my location since mid-June.  Very cool feel this morning but it's rebounding quickly through the low 80s right now.  Great windows open weather to let some of this dry air flow in.
