In your Newark list those three summers listed after 2026 were all historically hot summers that broke records for both 90 and 100 degree days. 80 degrees is a very low bar to clear though and can't be considered hot weather.

Today I had to wear a jacket summer is clearly over lol.

I've always thought we should move Memorial Day weekend to the first week of June and Labor Day weekend to the last week of August.

Many spots in the Northeast are in the top 5 or 10 for 80° days through September 5th with the early start back in March.
